[ It's just about after he had got the last texts from Itto that he thinks maybe he should have gone to the other but it's too late now. He definitely does have enough drinks for the both of them, though. It's a bit of a ridiculous activity they've planned but then again Itto's a bit ridiculous and Gorou likes that about him.
He hears the commotion as soon as someone had mentioned an oni and Gorou had been explaining that he is expecting one actually. He sighs, his hand going to his forehead briefly and he smothers a smile before walking out to get Itto out of trouble. ]

[ Gorou says to his men as he walks up, still doing his best to suppress his amusement. ]
[The oni instantly lights up the moment he catches sight of Gorou and, much like a child whose parent came to their school just to side with them against their mean old teachers, (Or alternatively, like the girlfriend who swears her big tough boyfriend will show up soon to defend her honor and is proven right) Itto proudly gloats-]

[He grabs onto the small shoulder of the petite resistance general beside him now and pulls him in closer, addressing the two begrudgingly apologetic soldiers once more.] Guess I'll let it slide this time... but next time remember that my canine compadre and I are like THIS, okay?
Now if you'll excuuuuuuse us, gentlemen, WE have some super important business to attend to. [Itto goes to walk off; his arm still flung over Gorou's shoulders all the while.] Heheh....
Hey, what can I do? Going through a front gate is fine and all, but you can't just give me the opportunity to stealthily leap into an army base like a total badass and expect me to NOT take it.

[ Gorou is certain that the next time he's going to be the one to go meet Itto and not the other way around. This is embarrassing but then again it makes him want to laugh. He allows himself to be pulled in close, not bothering to interrupt Itto -- it's impossible once he's going anyway. ]
There was absolutely nothing dangerous about that.
[ Gorou chuckles and shakes his head, one of his ears twitching as he leads the other to his tent where they can drink and color. ]
But I'd really rather you not cause chaos with the troops if possible next time.
[Honestly Itto is lucky that Gorou is patient and understanding enough to tolerate his antics (maybe even more understanding than Itto deserves but) Gorou has always been one to exude that kind of tolerant energy. Which is just one of many things that Itto likes about him so much!]

[Apparently Itto is capable of self-reflection sometimes! He turns his head and chuckles himself as he catches sight of that twitching ear.]
Haha, you know, I just can't get enough of those fluffy ears of yours! Hey- are they super soft?? [Itto casually reaches over to pet them.]
[ Gorou agrees with a small smile and he is distracted for a moment that he doesn't notice the other reaching for his ears at first. His eyes widen at the question and he ducks his head, cheeks going pink and he side steps.
They're almost to his tent and when they do he ducks in before saying a word, flustered. In truth, he wants nothing more than someone to touch his ears but also he's sure he'd like it a bit too much.
Clearing his throat a little he finally answers. ]
